ABC Detergent founded in 1972 (formerly Baser Kimya) to manufacture household chemicals for both domestic and international markets. Before the brand's 35th anniversary, the ABC brand team expected to create a more legible, contemporary brand identity approach for the next generations.

And we were fortunate enough to work for ABC detergent re-branding.
The goal was to bring simplicity and elegance to the brand while still keeping the visual look of the existing ABC logo. The project was carried out collaboratively with Concept Istanbul, ABC's advertising agency.

The new logotype uses custom typography with little rounded corners, narrow construction, and free from all unnecessary cross movements to create a more legible experience. When we're crafting unique letterforms, we added generous spacing, which allows clarity at small sizes in the digital world. In the process, we have de-polished the logotype and gone flat. We looked at the construction of the logotype background, preserving its atomic feeling but making it more modern and straightforward. We reduced background complexity and the multi-color style. Good design is as little design as possible.

The biggest problem of the previous logo; No matter how big the logotype is used on the product, letters were small compared to other competing brand logos. (because of its complex construction and letterforms.) That's why we developed the new typography that can be used bigger in the same size.

Vitamin + is a school project where my task was to create the identity and packaging for beverages of my choice. I wanted to make something simple and minimalist, but something that would be eye-catching and stand out on the shelves among other beverages. Using geometric shapes and colors, I tried to convey the message in a slightly different and creative way.

La Confesión - Is a premium Sotol from Coahuila, a distilled spirit made from the Desert Spoon (Sereque) through a process similar to the artisanal production of tequila and mezcal. Unlike Agave, a Desert Spoon plant requires 15 years to mature so that it can yield only one bottle of Sotol. Sotol’s origin dates back to Aztec civilization where it was believed to have magic and curative powers. It later became a symbol of the northern Mexican states in times of the Mexican Revolution. In 1920 Sotol production was prohibited and has since become a mystical secret of these desert states as northerners kept producing Sotol despite prohibition and persecution. La Confesión takes its name from this era and the secrecy it endured. Our branding solution is a nod to Sotol’s unique properties, mystical history, and heritage; mixing both pre-hispanic and colonial elements. A unique bottle design expands on this same concept but also seeks to enhance the drinking experience by integrating a wide and narrow drinking recipient as a call-back to how Sotol was served in ancient times.

The packaging design was inspired by the 1980s punk subculture style of writing and gave the brand an edgy tonality and typography that was needed to bring forward their strong message. But it also needed a design that would be able to “pop” on the shelves and look delicious. So the dot-pattern was born. Happy and playful dots create brand consistency and are carriers of important messages.
Went from a nutritional diabetes brand to a household brand. Products ́pop ́ on the shelf, creating curiosity and easy navigation. Received listings and strong traction from distributors across the world.

Tripled sales in YR1 from 1 million EUR to forecasted 3 million. Anchoring the core purpose of the vision in the packaging design. Won ‘Best in Test’ against the leading candy brands.

Tsikoudia (Greek: τσικουδιά), also often called raki (Greek: ρακή) is an alcoholic beverage, a fragrant, grape-based pomace brandy of Cretan origin that contains 40% to 65% alcohol by volume. Tsikoudia is made by distilling of pomace, what remains of grapes pressed in winemaking. The pomace ferments for about six weeks in a tightly-sealed barrel and is then distilled. It is often produced at home in villages throughout Crete, and so the alcohol content varies by producer. Typically each Cretan village has one or two residents who are licensed to distill, and tsikoudia is produced continuously for two or three weeks in late October and early November.

In 2018 we created Caparaki (the combination of the studio name Caparo and the word raki), our first limited edition alcohol product, produced in 160 numbered bottles in total. We shared Caparaki with our clients and friends giving them a special packaging gift to cherish our good moments and to have something to remember. Caparaki is a concept that celebrates craftsmanship. It reflects the studio's design values by connecting in a lyrical way the essence of our work with the purity of the product.

The packaging box features humorous and sarcastic inside stories, jokes, and projects from Caparo from the previous year. Cartoon portraits of each Caparo member are part of the illustration. One side of the box has new year's wishes in the form of small poems in the style of the Cretan "mantinada", a musical declamation resembling a narrative or dialogue. We wrote our own mandates, introducing little twists since we fused the graphic design terminology with the typical Cretan dialect.

Kostas, the studio founder, hails from Rethymno, Crete, so we had access to top-quality homemade stuff by Kostas' father, who makes a small portion each year for the family. The whole concept began from some raki-drinking sessions of the crew.

Cruelty-free, vegan, organic, and minimalistic.  We took a red grape color, softened it a bit to breathe some freshness and youthfulness to the packaging. Ah, we almost forgot to tell how we came up with such a naming: our client’s name is Maria Voskresenskaya. We took her initials 'M' and 'V' and came up with something simple yet classy. That’s how EMVY was born.

"Enkelt og Perfekt" (simple and perfect) is Hellstrøm´s mantra and we regarded it as the essential ingredient for the integrity of the brand. Authoritative, masculine, accessible, and heritage were additional ingredients to shape the product and take decisions in terms of materials, bottle shape, execution, tone of voice, and colors.

We reduced the choice of materials to the essential and selected only natural and honest ones;
the silkscreened glass bottle, the cork closure with an untreated wood top, and an uncoated paper seal.

We wanted the bottle to communicate a premium and masculine look without compromising its functionality the bottle needed to be comfortable to use around the table and allow serving with one hand.

The bottle shape is new in the category.

To silkscreen the bottle was a choice to "reduce" and to aspire to an iconic and sharp brand personality,
together with allowing the product to transmit a feeling of heritage and trustworthiness. The ingredients on the front and the measuring scale on the side are both homages to the chef world and the color of the aquavit is paired with the complementary color in the seal.

The shape of the package makes the product very easy to use but what makes it so special is its top. The ending is reminiscent of the characteristic haircut of the Dabiz Muñoz (Mohican style).

The illustration places the chef in the center of the container, allowing himself to be inspired and influenced by everything around him that helps him create each of the sauces. Dabiz Muñoz is the youngest chef to win three Michelin stars and one of the most avant-garde creators on the culinary scene. The Gulf of California is one of the most diverse seas on the planet, home to thousands of species of organisms. Here there are hundreds of islands, many of which are significant nesting sites for seabirds, and nursing grounds for migratory and endemic marine species. For centuries the Gulf has beckoned explorers, authors, and scientists, inspired by the ruggedness of its remote coastlines.

Today the Gulf is in peril. Unsustainable fishing - including the use of gill nets and bottom trawling - are destroying many of the coastal ecosystems. The fishing communities who have depended on these waters for survival are now on the brink of collapse and are in need of alternative forms of income to support their families.

Conserva Collective works alongside these communities to create alternative sources of income, on projects that contribute to marine conservation initiatives. We believe that by empowering individuals to learn from and appreciate our environment, we can position these communities as innovators and entrepreneurs, all while working towards the protection of our marine environment.

Going to foreign markets is a responsible step, that requires serious preparation. Therefore Passim asked us to develop new positioning and modern packaging for their products.

Inspired by a trip to the factory Passim in Novosibirsk, we saw production and plunged into the workflow. We held several workshops, talked with employees, studied the competitive environment.

As a result, the logo was replaced by a more universal one. We choose Latin writing, which is easy to read both in Russia and abroad. The old slogan "Delicious tradition since 1991" has changed to "Inspiring gourmets since 1991", this is the main emphasis of the new positioning, the verb always strengthens the emotion. The wooden spoon with an image of finished product symbolizes naturalness, it reflects the brand values.

The window on the front of the pack shows that groats are crumbly and not in the cooking bags. By the way, we still have to develop packaging. The chip of box — spout on the left, allowing to pour groats into a pan, it was accented with red.

Karma CBD is a brand of conceptual products targeted for the legal cannabis market. This concept of cannabis packaging is based on popular plants used in infusions of Russian teas.

The challenge was to design a line of premium products paying homage to Russian culture.

By combining the aesthetics of traditional Russian culture (illustrations, myths, patterns) with intense use of color contrasts. We have subtly arranged all these graphic elements so as to give a resolutely modern and high-end rendering.

Creating various packaging has been produced: dropper bottles for CBD oils, paper pockets for gummies, care creams.

Terra Incognita is a new enterprise with a unique proposition in its market segment: it creates premium herbal blends that are coupled with select semi-precious stones based on their energy profiles and distinct properties. We were approached by the company’s founders to create the product’s identity and packaging.

Our primary goal was to showcase the product’s unique properties and create an identity that would stand out in a saturated market segment. We created a packaging system based on transparency and layering: the clear plastic external container encloses a series of smaller containers and printed cards highlighting each blend’s ingredients and beneficial properties. All the elements of the product’s visual expression were carefully designed to unify its constituent elements and distinguish it from all competitors.

The finished packaging system is designed to amplify the experience of using the product and enhance its premium nature. The emphasis on clean lines and typography establishes a clear identity, while the selected images of herbs highlight the product’s natural provenance. The overall effect is a product that is clearly perceived by its customers as unique and premium.

Gent is a concept skincare brand designed for modern gentlemen. A common theme in men’s skincare is for brands to play upon dated stereotypes of what masculinity is or should be. Gent was designed to challenge those toxic stereotypes and present a skincare line that would be approachable, fresh and inclusive to a diverse group of gentlemen.

Finding the right balance was important for this project. The main typeface for Gent has a humanist quality which helps support a design that does not immediately read as overtly masculine. Life can be all too serious at times so to add some whimsy; a mustache was incorporated into the letter “t”. The overall branding and design uses minimal typography and a clean colour palette that appeals to a broad range of gentlemen

Together with the unique packaging design, the project features naming options. Exting is the merge of the two notions ‘extinguisher’ and ‘exciting’. No other way! The red-colored extinguisher-shaped bottle informs that you better shouldn’t wait until the alarm system is triggered and the fire-brigade arrives. The low-calorie drink enables you to restore vitality and prevent your body from overheating.

The corporate inscription performed with the printed caps letters makes the motivating effect. One of its elements stands for the fire extinguisher bell. The detachable upper module doesn’t affect the tube’s usability and provides easy access to the content as in the case with the real equipment stated by fire safety rules.

“ Thung Kula Ronghai has been a well-known rice producing area of Thailand where its high quality of rice production has been acclaimed worldwide. Every year the rice production is limited in the amount in a controlled environment. This organically produced rice, therefore, is ensured of the best quality and chemicals-free and thereby preserves the environment. This is the origin of SRISANG DAO RICE.

Our challenge in packaging design is to reflect all these organic rice growing processes. We design the package by using the chaffs which is the natural waste from the husking process. The package is die-formed with the rice-shape embossing on top of the box cover which is surrounded by the graphic lines and burning stamp of logo with some details. Inside the box is filled with the rice sack on which lot number and other data are being printed.

The outer packaging may later be used as a tissue box. This outstanding packaging design is absolutely environmentally friendly and serves beyond an ordinary rice package. “

“ Since the 19th century, the art of its creation has been lost. Small Beer founders James and Felix wanted to reignite this tradition with the world’s first brewery specializing in great tasting, sustainability brewed low ABV beer. Their mission is to help people enjoy the big moments whilst staying as crisp and fresh as their beer. They came to us to help realize their vision and become the go-to, better choice for beer drinkers.

To educate consumers about what was an entirely new category, it was key for the brand to be clear and accessible.  The challenge was to communicate that low ABV beer isn’t just for designated drivers. It still has great taste and is the smart choice for anyone wanting to have a few beers and still enjoy a memorable experience, without the after-effects.

Working closely with the founders we developed a highly detailed hand illustration (based on Felix’s hand) and paired it with clean, bold colors, shapes and typography. The design balances elegant simplicity with a playful edge, giving a feeling of contemporary, premium craft to appeal to a wide range of beer drinkers.

Small Beer has been revolutionizing the world of beer since their launch. “
