Koko Skincare

Dustin Edward Arnold brings us Koko. Bottle design and artistic direction for Koko skincare emulsion. Product based on the Japanese aesthetic principal of Koko.The Koko principal involves a feeling of the austere but with a sense of maturity. Visual elements are reduced to their basic bare bones, without sensuous aspects. Koko involves things which seem stern, ascetic and forbidding in appearance. It involves a sense of the harsh, the severe and the rigidly abstemious. 

Rolling Stones 50th Anniversary Whiskey

To celebrate their formation in 1962,

The Rolling Stones have teamed up with Japanese whiskey maker, Suntory, to release a limited edition Rolling Stones 50thAnniversary Whiskey that’s set to be released in October 2012. Suntory will release only 150 bottles of the rockin’ whiskey, at a price of 500,000 yen, or $6,300.

NIKKA WHISKY

Nikka whiskey is made in Japan by Asahi Brewery Group - one of the largest beverage conglomerates in Japan. At NIKKA, developing whiskies requires constant attention. Rough and subtle, delicate and wild, pure and complex, these multi-faceted whiskies explore an incredible sensory palate. Since the same standards apply to packaging, the line’s presentation codes have been revamped. Refinement, purity and the origami inspiration make up a veritable architectural unity to be shared like a Japanese offering. First interpretations visible on the 17-ounce (50-cl) bottles and bartending initiation cases for: The shaker NIKKA FROM THE BARREL: graphic folds and graphite materials for this blend bursting with character The purist PURE MALT, rounded folds and warmer materials for a peated whisky. The case opens up to surprises, with the interior featuring Japanese motifs specific to each of the three varieties (White, Red or Black).
