Jacob’s Pardon is an American whiskey rooted in an authentic Prohibition-era legacy. Founded by the Taub family, the brand pays homage to brothers Jacob and Abner, who were jailed for bootlegging in 1929 and later granted a presidential pardon by FDR. The brief was to create this new to world brand with one eye on the past and one on the future.

Brand Architecture

The name and brand style embrace this rebellious history of the name. The package design features a premium, small-batch aesthetic with tactile label variations, handwritten batch details, and distinctive resin seals, beautifully bridging historical narrative with modern luxury spirits design. The star of the design is the vintage lettering emboss created to adorn the front face of the brown glass bottle.
